Fallas Family Vision + Oakley

If you have been to visit Dr. Fallas at Fallas Family Vision, then you know why he is the best eye doc in Henry County. As a good idea for marketing his company, he likes to change up the ads he runs, which keeps things interesting. This time around, Dr. Fallas wanted to showcase the availability of Oakley Livestrong Jawbones, as well as other Oakley products, at his location. Couple that with the fact that he uses them when out biking, and you get the following session we shot recently (in the lobby of his office!).

Tina + Rob: Happily Ever After

We got a little cozy with Tina & Rob during their engagement shoot not too long ago. So it was great to see them tie the knot. Added bonus was doing it Athens, which is a great little town. What a great, fun, classy group of people to spend the day with.

Branden: The Path Ahead

Branden, who is looking ahead to graduate school after his coming college graduation, is clearly on his way to bigger and better things. He gives the impression of being focused, driven, yet carries that mixed with a friendly and easy-going attitude. That, and the fact that he brought his bike along, made this shoot quite fun.

The Animal Within

Every now and then we break out and shoot something a little different than what our normal photography outing would entail. This shoot is a great example of that and we weren’t sure if it would have been possible to enjoy it more than we did. We recently had a blast getting to shoot the Hellwig family. The family sessions where we spend as much time laughing as we do taking pictures always mean so much to us. Plus, it sure does make the time go by fast! We not only appreciate their great attitudes, but also their willingness to brave some slightly chilly weather and a little bit of rain for us to get some shots. Here are a few of our favorites.

Tiffany + Joseph: It’s Official

You ever run across someone and say to yourself “These are just good people. I know they are going to be happy for a long time”? That is how we felt after meeting with Tiffany and Joe. We had a blast doing their engagement session and knew that their wedding would be fun as well. And they certainly did not disappoint us. We have been on a great streak of luck to share some wonderful moments with really fantastic people.

A Friendly Game of Chess

Yes, we are backed up with work. Yes, we could perhaps be doing something different with our time. Yes, we need an outlet! The other night we took a break from the norm and setup a fun little shoot in the local town square.

What we have found is that it is vital to the work of photographers, at least us anyway, to change up speeds and do something different every so often. Not to mention that the weather on the night we shot could not have been more perfect.

Last week in our local town square, we setup a few lights and took ourselves a break from client work and had a ball doing it. Kudos to Mark for the idea and execution of this change of pace shoot for us. Mark had the chess set, table, lighting, location, and everything mapped out so that it was only a matter of showing up and pressing a few buttons to make it happen.

And since the lights were already setup, why not keep going with the silliness, right?

We hope to start doing something like this on a more regular basis.

The Engagement Album

The Huggins Family Session
