This past Saturday, JayMar Photography opened up the studio doors on a very cold and wet day in order to participate in the Help Portrait event.  For those that have never heard of the event, it is a day for those in the photography realm to use their talents to give back to those less fortunate by offering their services. This event was much, much bigger than our little location as we saw it reach as far as Milan, Italy.  CNN also covered the event (view their segment online)!

Many of the photographers in the area have been posting some behind the scene photos to Flickr here for those interested. In order to protect and respect the privacy of those who came in to have their portrait taken, we will not be posting their images.  However, we have to give a huge round of applause for those who gave their day, talents, and heart to help.  You all were a big part of a great event.
